Vault

Once you have mastered the basic techniques of parkour, you can start to progress to more advanced movements, such as vaulting.

A vault is when you use your momentum to propel yourself over an obstacle. You’ll need to move quickly and make sure you have enough speed to jump over the obstacle. It also helps to practice your landings and make sure you land in a stable position.

To practice a vault, you can start by standing in front of a low wall and gradually increase the height until you can easily clear the wall.

Wall Run

The wall run is one of the most iconic and effective moves in parkour. It involves running up a wall and using momentum to propel yourself off the wall and onto a platform or ledge.

To perform the wall run, stand at least six feet away from the wall and take a few running steps towards it. As you approach the wall, start sprinting and leap off the ground, pushing your feet against the wall. Keep your arms close to your body as you run up the wall and use your arms to help you reach the top.

Once you reach the top, use a wall climb to get up and over it..

Wall Climb

The wall climb is an important technique to master as it will help you conquer taller obstacles which you can’t vault over.

You can either use a wall run or, if the wall is short enough, jump and hang off it.

Once you are hanging off the wall, use your feet to push p the wall in order to give you momentum to place your pals on the ledge and push up so the ledge is at about hip height.

For here, place your foot on the wall and step up.

Conclusion

In conclusion, parkour is an exciting way to challenge yourself and test your physical and mental limits. By following the steps outlined in this article, you can learn how to overcome different types of walls using parkour.
